排煙風管與通風管道就管道講本身都是管道。但從名稱和作用上來說，就可以看出差別。通風 起換氣作用保持室內空氣通暢，所以通風管道就是為房間或設備送風排風的管道。排煙管道是專門供煙氣排放的管道。它們一般采用鍍鋅鐵皮制作。

排煙的目的是將室內的煙塵通過抽風機械排到室外,而通風是能過機械使室內外的空氣進行強制流通,首先他們的通風方向和地點就是不同的,其次,他們流通的空氣質量是不同的,所以不能使用同一個管道,不然,我們在通風時,不小心把煙塵通到室內,豈不是適得其反？排煙管道與排風管道的安裝標準不一樣，排煙管道系統中要安裝排煙防火閥，而普通的排風管道不用安裝。
